Professional regulations - tax consultants

The relevant professional regulations for tax advisors can be viewed and ac-cessed on the homepage of the Federal Chamber of Tax Advisors (www.bstbk.de). These include in particular:

DVStB - Implementing Ordinance to the Tax Consultancy Act
BOStB - Professional Regulations of the Federal Chamber of Tax Consultants
StBGebV - Tax consultant fee ordinance

All partners are admitted to the bar in the Federal Republic of Germany and be-long to the Hanseatic Bar Association Hamburg, Bleichenbrücke 9, 20354 Hamburg, an. If partners are also tax consultants (marked by #), they are admitted as tax con-sultants in the Federal Republic of Germany and belong to the Chamber of Tax Consultants. Professional indemnity insurance

Buschmann Partnership has a Europe wide pecuniary loss liability insurance (professional liability insurance) with ERGO Versicherungsgruppe/Insurance Group AG, Victoriaplatz 2, 40198 Düsseldorf.

Avoidance of conflicts of interest

Lawyers are prohibited from representing conflicting interests under professional law regulations (§ 43a Paragraph 4 BRAO). Before accepting a mandate, a conflict of interest is therefore always checked.

Out-of-court dispute resolution

In the event of disputes between lawyers and their clients, it is possible, upon request, to settle disputes out of court at the Regional Bar Association (pursuant to Section 73 (2) No. 3 in conjunction with Section 73 (5) BRAO) or at the Concili-on Office of the Bar Association at the Federal Bar Association (Section 191f BRAO), on the Internet via the homepage of the Federal Chamber of Lawyers (www.brak.de or via e-mail : schlichtungsstelle@brak.de).
